Removal of obsolete targeting types
As part of our efforts to improve AdOcean ad server system also by clearing out obsolete code and functionality, we have decided to delete unused and not functioning targeting and capping types from campaigns that exist in AdOcean databases. Removed types are:
- Domain targeting;
- Questionnaire capping.
- AO_MODIFIED_removed_targeting_Domains;
- AO_MODIFIED_removed_capping_Questionnaire_Capping.
This change will not affect running campaigns and affected finished campaigns will be marked by an additional comment in one of the following forms:
You can quickly check if any of your historical campaigns has been modified, by using the “Comments” filter option in the campaigns list view.

The Questionnaire capping functionality can be implemented by using retargeting, which also gives you the possibility to deactivate users (i.e. to not show a questionnaire any more) when using a deactivating script at the very end of a questionnaire.
